In the framework of the Continuous Professional Development Program for nurses the Nursing Council of the “Arabkir” MC together with the “Semra Plus” Foundation and professors from cantonal Nursing School of Jura, Switzerland have conducted the third and last module for nurse - lecturers of the complex. The module was about “Expressive and Creative Skills of a lecturer”. During this 3-day module 7 future lecturers received theoretical knowledge and presented their first lectures.

The “Semra Plus” Foundation is a Public Organization, founded in 1992 with the efforts of Jean-Pierre Bernhartd, after the 1988 earthquake in Armenia. From the first days of its establishment, the Foundation has been supporting the development programs of “Arabkir” MC in favor of the Armenian children needing medical care. The Foundation helps “Arabkir” MC by providing the necessary equipment, professional training and exchange programs. As a result of this cooperation, 35 healthcare programs were implemented in Armenia to date, aimed at children’s healthcare, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and developing new fields of medicine.

Since 2016 special attention is paid to the nursing professional development programs aimed at strengthening the responsibility and independence of a nurse. Today the Continuous Professional Development Program for nurses is preparing nurse - lecturers. It was from this idea that the next one was born, to create a Continuous Developmental Center contributing not only to the professional development of our complex, but to newly graduated nurses and nurses from other medical denters as well.
