The Nursing Council of “Arabkir” MC was founded in 2006 on the initiative of “Arabkir” and “Semra Plus” swiss foundation to improve the quality of nursing care and strengthen the autonomous role of the nurse.

• The purposes of the council are:To establish permanent nursing school aiming to postgraduate professional development
• To educate the nurses about international innovative approaches
• To understand the needs of the medical complex and suggest ways to improve them
• Implement new nursing programs to improve the quality of service

The Nursing Council is in constant cooperation with its swiss partners. According to the charter, the Council has the right to discuss disagreements between the middle and junior medical staff, to suggest solutions and present the chosen option to the directorate.

The Nursing Council can be actively involved in the process of making guiedlines. The Nursing Council has president and 7 members, who are elected according to the charter. The president of the Council is Amalya Martirosyan. The members are Anahit Asatryan, Hasmik Hayrapetyan, Vardanush Avetisyan, Anna Shegunts, Armine Asatryan and Gayane Margaryan.
