On October 28 and 29, the Dr. Edgar Housepian 1st Clinical Neuroscience Symposium on the topic “Epilepsy” took place. The symposium was held online, which was attended by about 600 physicians and medical professionals from all over the world: Bulgaria, Canada, USA, Armenia and others. The symposium was headed by Biayna Sukhudyan, head of the Neurology and Neurosurgery service of “Arabkir” MC. 12 lectures were presented in 6 sessions and after each session there was an extensive professional discussion.
The Ministry of Health of the RA will give 6 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits to participants. Edgar Housepian was a famous American-Armenian neurosurgeon and beneficent. The Neurology and Neurosurgery service at “Arabkir” MC was named after him.
