Leading European Specialists at Arabkir Medical Center

Christa Relli, an infectious disease specialist at University Children’s Hospital Zurich, and Martina Hug, a general and developmental pediatrician, visited Armenia as part of the Arabkir MC–University Children’s Hospital Zurich cooperation program. This fruitful collaboration has existed for more than three decades.

The program facilitates an exchange of experience: Arabkir MC not only hosts leading specialists from Zurich, but many Armenian doctors have also undergone training at the Swiss Children’s University Hospital.

The visit of European doctors provides Armenian specialists with the opportunity to learn from European experience, strengthens international medical ties, introduces innovative approaches, and improves the quality of medical services in Armenia.

Աորտայի աղեղի անոմալիաները ավելի հաճախ երեխաների մոտ հանդիպող ախտորոշում են։ «Արաբկիր» բժշկական համալիրի ճառագայթային ախտորոշիչ ծառայության ղեկավար Մարինե Գրիգորյանը մանկական և կրծքավանդակի ռադիոլոգիային նվիրված գիտաժողովի ընթացքում անդրադարձել է այս խնդրին՝ ներկայացնելով ժամանակակից ախտորոշման մոտեցումները, կլինիկական առանձնահատկությունները և «Արաբկիր» ԲՀ-ում հանդիպած պրակտիկան։ Ռադիոլոգների հայկական ասոցիացիայի նախաձեռնությամբ ս.թ. մայիսի 1-2-ը Գյումրիում տեղի է ունեցել ֆրանս-հայկական երրորդ համաժողովը, որի շրջանակում ելույթ են ունեցել բժիշկ-ռադիոլոգներ Ֆրանսիայից և Հայաստանի բժշկական տարբեր հաստատություններից։ «ԱՐԱԲԿԻՐ» ԲԺՇԿԱԿԱՆ ՀԱՄԱԼԻՐ՝ ԱՌՈՂՋՈՒԹՅԱՆ ՎՍՏԱՀԵԼԻ ԳՈՐԾԸՆԿԵՐ

A Toy Preserved for 35 Years: A Story of Treatment and Doctor–Patient Friendship

A toy, carefully preserved for more than 35 years, has become a silent witness to the history of Andranik’s treatment and to the special bond between doctor and patient. Andranik is one of the patients of Arabkir Medical Center. Decades ago, Ara Babloyan performed surgery on the young boy and gave him a toy as a gift. Thirty years later, Sergey Babloyan took responsibility for Andranik’s health and performed a kidney transplant. During one of his regular postoperative visits, Andranik brought the toy with him to Arabkir Medical Center—the same toy that Ara Babloyan had given him in 1991—as a sign of gratitude to the father and son who had saved his life.
