HEALTH POLICIES AND STRATEGIES

ICAH takes an active role in support and participation in developing the policy and strategic documents in the field of Child and Adolescent Health. Among them is as National Strategy on Child and Adolescent Health and Development and Action plan for 2016-2020., as well as
in observations and studies of pediatric services and identification of issues and challenges of child health care.
Specialists of ICAH participate in development and implementation of policies and national programs in a field of pediatric education, development of different pediatric subspecialities, improvement of management of children with chronic diseases and disability, neonatal screenings, pediatric rehabilitation services, palliative care, organ transplantation, adolescent medicine, healthy lifestyle promotion and disease prevention etc.
